  All good, baby baby! - biggie smalls
  
  This place has consistently proven to exceed my expectations! I came for lunch with a group of friends, we made reservations and got seated immediately. Our waitress was a bit rough but she got everything done efficiently. I had the spaghetti carbonara, which was the right amount of creamy and salty due to the pancetta. It was a hefty portion, I have enough for lunch tomorrow.
  
  From salads, soups and pastas Umbertos knows how to get the job done.
  
  Added bonus they gave us bottles of umbertos olive oil!
  Felt like Christmas came early.

  Tip they have a great lunch combo for 2 items that include a soup or salad & a sandwich under $10!

  Sitting here now, for a Monday afternoon lunch.  About 15 minutes after sitting someone asked us what we wanted to eat.  No one ever came to us for a drink order.  Odd.   We are fine with water, and at this point I'll save my money and skip a drink.
  At 30 minutes one sandwich came out, and the waiter was surprised we thought the appetizer mozz sticks would have come out already?  Still waiting on my side salad, and my daughters entire lunch.... oh yeah, and the mozz sticks ....
  
  Well, meal finished and oofa.
  Got mozz sticks, waiter took back sandwich, put it under the lights for the next 10 min or so, then they served both lunches at the same time and the cheese in my sandwich was back to being a block and not melted.  Caesar salad had the slightest trace of dressing and a couple croutons, lackluster for certain.

  Blah !!!! Omg ! Gross ! We order 2 types of salads (why do you call them Saks if it only greens overwhelming amounts of blue cheese and old marinated chicken not grilled )
  Cold garlic nuts  !!!
  Over all service is great ! People are pleasant but food is gross ! Not coming back

  We usually like Umberto's. Service is usually decent and the food is pretty good. However! Last Monday, we went to dinner and the service was not that great. Our server was a bit rude and curt. We ordered the capellini with prosciutto and took 1/3 of it home. Two days after that, I was enjoying the leftover capellini when I felt a sharp object in my mouth. I spat out what was in my mouth to discover a type of metal wire in my food. It was the length of an extended staple and was sharp indeed. I was grateful I did not consume it or that it cut the inside of my mouth. Umberto's, please make sure you take better care of your hygiene in the kitchen. Also, your waitstaff could be friendlier. We liked your restaurant quite a bit but now it's time for a break. Quite unfortunate. Curious what their Health Score is.

  Really surprised this is not rated higher. The pizza is the best, especially the deep dish and Sicilian.  They have so many people working there happy to serve you!
  I prefer this location as it is not as crazy as New Hyde Park.
